Re- The case for victory by Tony Blankley

Re- The case for victory by Tony Blankley 8-24-05

I would like to congradulate Tony Blankley for Wednesdays coloumn in the Washington Times.

Regarding the Presidents commitment to Iraq he has hit it on the head. Too bad he hasn't been reading what the so called wacky left has been saying since the summer of '03.

1. Bush and Rumsfeld made a decision on the number of troops to be sent to Iraq based on their gut feelings.

2. If the war isn't going well it is up to him to fire the Generals responsible.

3. He can’t fire the responsible generals because they were operating on Bush and Rumsfeld's unwritten rules of engagement: we will be greeted as liberators and have flowers thrown at our feet.

4. There is no insurgency…it's just a few dead enders.

I could go on and on but you get the point. I hope.

I'm just glad to have such strong conservative backing from a man like Blankley.

I hope it's not too late to break thru the bubble that W has been vacationing in for the last 4 1/2 years.
