  Judge can't rule now

Judge Posner, on Hardball MSNBC 12/22/05 let it be known where this debate on domestic spying is going.

Asked how to balance civil liberties and security, he couldn’t answer, then he proceeded to explain his position, which supports anything the admin wants to do...security trumps.

The only thing good to come out of this interview is that the judge has eliminated himself as an impartial adjudicator for any future rulings regarding civil liberties and national security.

If you all remember during the hearings for SCOTUS, a judge can’t give his opinion...let alone his legal position on any issue that may appear before his court...to protect his impartiality.

Thank you, Judge Posner. Our country doesn’t need such an opinion...and you are out.
